Quality assurance: ring tests 2017

As part of ensuring a constant quality control and -improvement, Primoris takes part in many national and international ring tests. These are independent checks on the quality of laboratory analysis. Based on the results of these ring tests, the performance of the analytical method is evaluated and, if necessary, improved. Some of these ring tests are undercover tests in order to meet the highest possible quality standards.

Annual audits, the use of undercover ring test samples and constant evaluation of competence and customer support levels are just some examples of how the highest possible guarantee on reliable analysis and high quality support can be pursued.

From April until today, Primoris Bulgaria took part in the following ring tests:

PESTICIDES & CONTAMINANTS:

• EUPT CF-11: pesticides on oat flour
• FAPAS 19228 : pesticides on carrot puree
• FAPAS 19232 : pesticides/dithiocarbamates on lettuce puree

MICROBIOLOGY:

• PT MC-16D: Total colony count on milk powder
• PT MC-23D: Yeast and molds on milk powder
• PT MC-16D: Enterobacteriaceae on milk powder
• PT MC-16D: Coliforms on milk powder
• PT MC-16D: Escherichia coli on milk powder
• PT MC-17D: Coagulase-positive staphylococci (+Staphylococcus aureus) on milk powder
• PT MC-17D: Bacillus cereus on milk powder
• PT MC-11D: Aerobic mesophilic spores on milk powder
• PT MC-08D: Enumeration of Listeria monocytogenes on milk powder
• PT MC -07D: Detection of Listeria monocytogenes on milk powder
• M224d07: Detection of Salmonella spp. on herbs
• M221d11: Detection of STEC on salad
• 083-1: Detection of Norovirus GI/GII on frozen strawberries
• 083-1: Detection of Hepatitis A on frozen strawberries
