Supermarkets are offering a wide range of goods, including fresh, processed and other food and feed items. The proportion of supermarket foods with pesticide residues has almost doubled in a decade. Not only do supermarkets follow the pesticide EU MRLs (Regulation (EC) N°396/2005) and active substances (Regulation (EC) N°1107/2009), some of them have elaborated own guidelines that might be more strict than the guidelines established by the EU.
German supermarkets may differ from European legislation for fresh products by demanding extra guidelines. Per supermarket, we can offer a report that states if the results are in accordance with the demands of a specific supermarket.
