Highlighted: looking back on successful seminar 2017

On Thursday 15 June we have organised our yearly seminar, which was dedicated to the current challenges concerning residues and contaminants within the circular economy.

The circular economy is an economic system that maximises the reusability of products and raw material, whilst minimising destruction of value. This can affect both product quality and food safety. During this seminar our speakers were successful in tackling these new challenges by combining legislative, practical and laboratory viewpoints.

The seminar was closed by Vicky Lefevre, the Director General Control Policy of the Belgian Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain, who provided attendees with the results of the 2016 residue monitoring program.
