As from January 9th, PRIMORIS is also your reliable partner for the analysis of the foodborne viruses Norovirus (type GI and GII) and Hepatitis A virus. Thanks to a very intense collaboration with experts in the field of virology, microbiology and food preservation, we were able to develop a method that offers the highest possible reliability for the difficult NoV and HAV detection.

Reliable analyses on glyphosate at 10 ppb

The past few months, our R&D team has been working hard on a unique high quality analysis method for glyphosate on 10 ppb. This method will be activated on January 9th.

Method update: shift in analysis method for captan and folpet

On January 9th, we will change our method for the determination of folpet, while the determination of captan is being imported in our GMS multimethod. The current CL1B method for the quantification of captan and folpet in fruit and vegetables will disappear.

EFSA: Results EU report 2014 on pesticide residues in food

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has published the 2014 European Union report on pesticide residues in food. The findings of the report conclude that 97% of food samples collected in the European Union are free of pesticide residues or contain traces that are within legal limits.

Extranet is one of the modern tools we offer to make the registration and follow-up on samples even more efficient. We see that since 2012, the number of registrations via extranet has tripled and nowadays, almost the half of all samples are being registered via extranet.
