Glyphosate analyses … how can we help you?
Ever since the message of the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) in 2015 stating that glyphosate is "probably" able to cause cancer in humans, there have been quite a few new developments.
A quick overview (source: fytoweb.be):
- The IARC has published its entire report.
- The European Commission has given a mandate to EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) to analyze this report.
- EFSA has published its conclusions for the dossier that was submitted by the producers in view of a renewal of the EU approval of glyphosate. These conclusions also take into account the IARC report.
- The European Commission has prolonged the EU approval for glyphosate until the end of 2017, submitting the approval to more severe conditions.
- Belgium has applied the more severe conditions on all approvals for plant protection products that contain glyphosate.

Reliable analyses on glyphosate at 10 ppb
On January 9th we launched a unique and highly reliable analysis method for glyphosate on 10 ppb and we noticed that a lot of customers have already requested this new method, which is a highly sensitive LC-MSMS with 2D technology. Thanks to this 2D technology, we are able to detect and quantify difficult glyphosate particles on the requested level.
